The sealed glass plates are scribed and broken into
individual cells and the liquid crystal fluid is injected using a vacuum backfill
technique. Then an epoxy sealant plugs the fill port.
Following visual inspection and electrical testing, polarizer
films are laminated to the outer surfaces of the glass display cells and the completed LCD
panel is transferred to the module assembly process.
